The Randburg Magistrate’s Court has postponed the case of the woman facing charges of possession of child pornography and money laundering to Tuesday for a formal bail application.

The 25-year-old Web Designer, briefly made her first court appearance this morning, following her arrest in Houghton, Johannesburg last week.

She is the girlfriend of 35-year-old Darren Wilken, who was arrested this month, after being found in possession of over 10 million images and videos of child pornography.

The visibly distraught woman is expected to apply for a formal bail application on Tuesday.

The woman has now become an additional accused number 2 in the case of her boyfriend, an alleged child porn kingpin accused of distributing child pornography for financial gain on a global scale

The duo will have the same charges of manufacturing, selling and production of child pornography, including money laundering. The suspect remains in custody.
