Cholota, who is the former personal assistant of then Free State premier, Ace Magashule, is before the high court for a pre-trial hearing.
She’s among 18 accused in the R255-million asbestos roof removal case whose trial is set down for mid-April.
Cholota, who was extradited from the United States, is accused of fraud and corruption, among other charges, alongside her former boss Magashule, businessman Edwin Sodi and others.
Cholota is facing charges of corruption and money laundering.
Advocate Makhubela has indicated that Cholota will be approaching the Supreme Court of Appeal to appeal the High Court decision that set aside her application to have her arrest declared unlawful.
