Four suspected human traffickers have been arrested on the N1 between the Beitbridge border post and Musina in Limpopo. The suspects, including a woman, were transporting ten children, six girls and four boys, from Zimbabwe into the country. Police say the suspected human traffickers failed to produce the documents. They have been taken into custody.

The minibus taxi which was transporting minors was heading to Johannesburg in Gauteng.
Police say the driver told them that he was transporting the children to visit their parents as the schools have closed. The victims of suspected human trafficking have been taken to Musina victim empowerment centre for safe keeping.
Meanwhile, the suspects will appear before Musina Magistrate on Tuesday next week. They will face the charges of human trafficking and contravention of Immigration Act.
