School Safety Imbizo | Initiative seeks to stem out bullying, gangsterism at schools – Chiloane

In the past weeks, there have been incidents of violence at schools in the area, including Eersterust which Chiloane will visit.

Departmental spokesperson Steve Mabona, elaborates, “This engagement aims to foster dialogue between the education sector, law enforcement agencies, community leaders and parents to find sustainable solutions to ensure that the safety of learners and educators is prioritised.

In the past weeks there were incidences which occurred in the area, specifically in Eersterust, and that’s where the MEC will be visiting on Saturday. The priority is making sure that all our children and everyone that is in our environment is safe.”
