The Youth Manifesto debate to be hosted by HotNews has generated so much interest amongst young people nationally that there was a strong call for the debate to broadcast live.
One of South Africa’s largest online radio stations, Keith Ngesi Radio (KNR), has come on board as radio broadcast partner.
“KNR is excited to be part of this unique debate where only youth leaders will be debating strictly on where their respective parties stand on youth affairs in their Manifestos”, said Keith Ngesi, the founder of KNR.
Zolile Menzelwa, senior reporter in charge of organising the debate said, “We want to reach the widest possible audience as we believe that this unique debate offers an opportunity for voters to focus on what the future leaders of the country have to say about matters at the heart of the youth agenda. The strategic partnership with KNR gives an added dimension to our quest to cover a wide footprint of young people. The debate will also be broadcast live via the HotNews Facebook page”.
The debate takes place at the Mirriam Makeba Centre of Performing Arts in East London on Monday the 6th of May at 17h00.
