Limpopo police say they have deployed resources to trace two suspects wanted for two separate murders.
Police say they have launched a manhunt for a man who allegedly killed a 14-month-old baby at Ha-Budeli outside Thohoyandou. The man also kidnapped the baby’s mother, but she was later found safe.
In another case, police are looking for a former senior official at Mogalakwena Local Municipality who has evaded arrested for almost a month.
Police say the man is believed to be the fourth suspect in the killing of a traditional healer in Mokopane.
Police spokesperson Stephen Thakeng says three co-accused arrested for the killing of the traditional healer will appear in court tomorrow.
“The traditional healer was murdered and three suspects were arrested and a fourth is still one the loose. We are appealing to anyone with information to come forward. The police investigating team is working around the clock, so this fourth suspect is arrested. A stern warning to the public, it is a crime a to hide a person who is wanted by police.”
