Residents in parts of Pretoria could find their taps running dry today. This as Rand Water is scheduled to maintain its infrastructure at the Mapleton System today.
This will result in low pressure or no supply as there will be no pumping from the system for the duration of the maintenance work. This could affect almost 20 reservoirs in the Tshwane Network.
The planned maintenance work is aimed at improving the system’s reliability and efficiency.
Rand Water says roaming water tankers will be dispatched.
