McKenzie was speaking after visiting the families of the late musicians Winnie Khumalo and Victor “Doc Shebeleza” Bogopane.
The two musicians, who died days apart last week will be laid to rest at the Heroes Acre at Wespark Cemetey, on Saturday.
McKenzie says they should get a proper lawyer to make sure that they get their royalties.
“I have learnt in this department since I’ve become a minister, that people represent people, and they don’t know that they are being represented by other people. The music industry is a doggy dog industry. They need to get a lawyer. Don’t let friends run around representing you,” says McKenzie.
