The man who set tongues wagging when he led the longest convoy of luxury cars to this year’s Durban July, Sam Mshengu, has been arrested in Witbank, Mpumalanga.
The Hawks confirmed the arrest of the owner of Sam Holdings, a logistics company with dozens of haulage trucks and other businesses.
It is believed that the investigation that led to his arrest was instigated by the Department of Home Affairs after issues with his citizenship came to the fore.
This is a developing story.
