The lead investigating officer, Bongani Gininda has been asked whether there is a monetary trail or proof that Senzo Meyiwa’s girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo paid the alleged hitmen.

Gininda is back in the witness box in the high court in Pretoria for Meyiwa’s murder trial.

Five men are on trial for the 2014 murder of the Bafana Bafana captain.

Defence counsel, Zandile Mshololo questioned Gininda about any records of an alleged payment to accused five Fisokuhle Ntuli.

“Is there any transactions, reflecting transfer of money from Miss Kelly Khumalo to accused number five?”

Gininda responded by saying ,“My recollection, and not only to accused number five, but all accused from all institutions, there is no electronic transfer from Miss Kelly Khumalo to any of the accused. That we did not find, or even cash deposits reflecting that is coming from her.”
