The outgoing 2018 Miss Wild Coast, Sihle Mgidi, sent an emotional message to the finalists of the 2019 edition hours before the 2nd Annual Finale’ starts at 17h00 on Saturday 26 October at the Gonubie Manor. Mgidi is also the reigning Miss Tourism and a Lifetime Wild Coast Ambassador.

Mgidi has been a shining star during her reign. Even though she is fond of telling people how much being part of this tourism marketing project has helped her to grow, she has given the fledgling brand a huge boost with her charismatic aura in all the activation events she attended.

Her message to the Finalists: “Hi ladies! Inoba you are busy preparing for the event but I want to say congratulations. 😊✨
I won’t have time to talk to you before the event and you probably won’t hear my speech and here’s what I want to say:
To the next title holders of Miss Wild Coast, Miss Wild Coast is not a celebrity, she is an ambassador, she brings about change and you have been chosen because you have the potential to bring that change and remember, with great power comes great responsibility. May you live your truth and go shine, our generation is waiting for your fire.
