South Africa’s left-arm spinner, Keshav Maharaj, has been ruled out of the remainder of the One Day International Series against Pakistan. South Africa’s left-arm spinner, Keshav Maharaj, has been ruled out of the remainder of the One Day International Series against Pakistan.
Maharaj has a left adductor strain and will return to Durban for rehabilitation.
He will be reassessed ahead of the first test match starting on the 26th of this month in Centurion.
Bjorn Fortuin will replace Maharaj for the final two ODI’s, starting with this afternoon’s match at Newlands in Cape Town.
Pakistan leads the three-match series 1-0.
