The recent torrential rains brought untold misery to hundreds of citizens in Port St Johns, leaving many reeling from the loss of household goods.
On Sunday the Progressive Business Forum (PBF) went to the coastal town to deliver a variety of household goods and cash that has been deposited into the PSJ Disaster Fund by business people aligned to the PBF.
Luthando Bara, himself a businessman born and bred in the area, ran a well-coordinated effort to ensure that clothes, mattresses, food and cash were collected from business people and individuals.
Contrary to the dreary scenes seen during the 5 days of havoc wreaked by inclement weather, PSJ was abuzz with excitement as the bus carrying the goods arrived and moved through the town.
