Kavanagh suffered a knee injury at the World Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, last year and as a result, 2024 was a nightmare.
But having recovered from that injury, she is looking forward to the new season with vigour and determination.
“2025 for me, my plans are to I would say run my best 10 and 21 times. I am in a positive mindset I feel strong, I look forward to a good year ahead and break some pbs and see how the year goes, race some strong races and just test myself.”
