In reply to South Africa’s first innings total of 191 all out, the visitors were skittled for a paltry 42 inside 14 overs, their lowest ever score in a test innings.
It’s also the lowest ever test score against South Africa and the lowest score at Kingsmead.
Only two Sri Lankans managed to reach double figures with a highest score of 13.
Five batters were dismissed without scoring. All-rounder Marco Jansen was the destroyer-in-chief.
Jansen on song!🎵
Marco meant business, and took NO prisoners as he bull-dozed the Sri Lanka batters to get career-best Test Match figures of 7/13😃😎🇿🇦
