Acting Gauteng Premier, Lebogang Maile, says there will be zero tolerance to law breakers in the province this festive season.
Maile was briefing members of the media on the outcomes of the Gauteng Executive Council meeting.
He addressed the work of government for the festive season which includes the integrated law enforcement plan.
“EXCO approved the festive season law enforcement plan. The plan addresses high crash areas, crime reduction and road safety awareness campaigns. Road safety remains a significant concern during the festive season with increased traffic leading to more fatalities. Gauteng continues to account for a large share of fatalities during the festive season.”
