Three men have been shot dead and a woman injured in an armed robbery at Amaoti, north of Durban.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), the incident occurred late on Saturday night, while the woman and two of the male victims were having drinks in a room in a house.

The woman told the unit’s officers that three armed men had entered the house and demanded their valuables, after which they fired shots, killing the two men, and then took their cellphones and cash.

The woman was shot in the finger. She told the officers that the shooters then went to an adjacent room where they shot dead another man, whose body was found under his bed.

Sixteen spent cartridges were found at the scene.
