The winner of the Cape Town Cycle Tour 2025 men’s elite race is 21-year-old Tyler Lange who completed the 109 km race in two-hours, 25-minutes and 47-seconds. Reinardt Janse van Rensburg finished second and Jaedon Terlow, third. Coming off a hard 5 day stage race in the Cape winning 3 stages Tyler is definitely tuned

Lange says he did not expect to win even though he knew it was possible. He says this was his 5th Cycle Tour and first big win.
“To win it, I knew it was maybe possible but I expect it. It’s my fifth cycle tour now and the first big win for me – so I’m super happy. It was really faster and no real big breakaways and stayed pretty much together and the splits happened where they would and came back for the finish. I had to gamble a bit because I wasn’t actually in the front, so I was hoping it would come back together and I was lucky, everyone was driven to have a bunch sprint so it came back together right in the end and managed to finish it off in the sprint.”
