The Deputy Registrar Nokukhanya Shongwe says the university already has over 15 000 students on its waiting list, which will be looked at after registrations are done.
More than 200 000 students applied, however, only three thousand three hundred have been admitted. Shongwe elaborates.
Shongwe says they will not entertain walk-ins from those who did not apply.
“So, walk-ins are something that at the University of Mpumalanga we are not entertaining and that is the reason you can see that compared to last year there are no queues there is nothing because we have already done our offers, we have already responded to our applicants.”
